Why HCL, HNO3, etc show acidic character in aqueous solution while solutions of compounds like alcohol and glucose do not show acidic characters?​

They show acidic character because when the dissolve in aqueous solution they form H+ ions.

but alcohol does not give H+ ions in aqueous solution.
