why hcl,hno3etc show acidic charecter in aquaeous solution while solution of compound like alkohol anf glucose do not show acidic charecter​

Answer:Because in aquous solution acids like HCl,HNO3 dissociates into replaceable H+ ions,due to which they show acidic character but covalent compound like glucose, alcohol do not dissociate into replaceable H+ ions. Hence acidic character is not shown by them.

(# I make you clear that acidic acidic character is only shown when a compound dissociate into replaceable H + ions which can be possible only in aqueous solution for example if you take solid HCL it will not show acidic character but if you dissolve HCL in water that is you make its aqueous solution then it will definitely show acidic character. Covalent compound like glucose and alcohol did not dissociate into positive Ion even in water so they did not show any acidic character
