Why hclo3 have heigher acidic character then hbro3?

Chlorine being more electronegativethan Bromine it pulls the electron of hydrogen more strongly and hence has a higher tendency to release a H+ unit. Hence we can say that HClO3 is more acidic than HBrO3. .
