hope it is helpful for you .. God bless you

Explanation:

The science. The noble gases, in order of their density, are helium, neon, argon, krypton, xenon and radon. They are called noble gases because they are so majestic that, in general, they don't react with anything. For this reason they are also known as inert gases.

Question:

Why Helium (He), Neon (Ne) and Argon (Ar) called inert gases?

Answer:

Inert gases are elements that do not react with any elements.

  • Helium, Neon and Argon have completely filled Valence shell.
  • They have completed their octet configuration that is they have 8 electrons in it's outermost shell.
  • They need not take or give any electrons and so, do not react with any elements. Therefore are known as Inert gases.

Other elements like metals and non metals react with other elements.

★ Metals donate electrons and form positive ions.

★ Non metals accept electrons and form negative ions.
