Answer:

The small intestine is longer in herbivore than in carnivore because herbivores consume plant and grass-based food which is full of cellulose and the digestion of cellulose takes a long time. ... Herbivores need a longer small intestine to allow cellulose to be digested as taken from green plants.

Answer:

Herbivores have a larger intestine than  carnivores as they have to digest roughage which takes long tike to get digested unlike the food that the carnivores eat which usually has less to no roughage thus it gets easily digested .

So the intestine in herbivore is long to ensure complete absorption of food they eat.

Hope it helped.
