Why HF show higher melting and boiling point than HCl

This trend is attributed to the increasing strength of intermolecular vander Waal forces, which correlate with no. of electrons in the molecules
But hydrogen bonding in HF predominates over vander Waal force in other hydrogen halide
Hence, ....HF..
