salt can increase blood pressure. so it is not advisable to take in salt. the patient can be dead if the person takes in more of salt

Taking more salt will increase the concentration of Na+ and Cl- thereby increasing the concentration of solute in the solution. This will result in the increase in osmotic pressure.
