we come across different views of the same event or same period because historians as an individual have some ideology or political/social bias to look at the world or past in that way.sometimes historians sellect an event and try to justify that action of the past.apart from their ideology historians also write for different audiences.they select information and when they write they can distort information to make their arguments stronger. and lastly i would like to say that in social science every knowledge is a perspective every individual is free to take any stand about something but only thing you need to justify your stand that's all.
