What makes Humans different from Robots with emotions?
The concept of uncanny valley will provide the base context to discusss the question further. Human emotions stem from deeper parts of the brain which evolved with ones experiences growing up. So the emotional content in their brain is strongly personal. Emotions are a particular kinda communicative medium which expects a two way communication. For example when I talk to a person I constantly evaluate their emotional state and adjust mine according to it in a given context. This is a very basic requirement for ones emotional state to keep it stable. Now consider a robot with emotions trying to impersonate, as best as it can, a human. First the human can believe that it has the same emotional state as a human and starts interacting with it. During the course of interaction if the robot fails to keep the human convinced about its emotional quality the human gets disconnected and settles in the uncanny valley! A place where he is uncertain about the integrity of the emotional state of the robot/person he is interacting with.

Now if someone can build an emotional state of a robot to be as good as any human then bingo! You can say that the robot is kinda just a person. The tricky part is emotions are something we do not have full understanding of yet. A lot of research goes into it, although more specifically into specialities like behavioral economics, and I believe we barely scratched the surface of the it!
