There are 2 types of digestion in Hydra:-
1) Intracellular. 2) Extracellular

Explaination:-

◆Food is stored in the gastrovascular cavity of hydra. Enzymes or special molecules secreted by the hydra, break down food for absorption.
◆Hydra also use extracellular digestion and secrete enzymes to break down the substrate they grow on. Intracellular digestion takes place inside the cell.
