Burning splint is actually used for testing of oxygen gas. Now burning splint burns much faster when oxygen is present but when burning splint is brought near a test tube containing hydrogen (suppose) then it extinguishes due to absence of oxygen

JATINGHAI: I am asking why it extinguishes a burning splint
PrashantS77: first read the answer
PrashantS77: I've written the reason bro
PrashantS77: because due to the hydrogen oxygen is not at all reached to the splint and hence it extinguishes
JATINGHAI: Ok but now tell me why hydrogen burns with a pop sound if no oxygen is present
switzer: sorry for the answer
switzer: very sorry
PrashantS77: BRO. plz make your question clear?
PrashantS77: Are you talking about the same case or any different case
PrashantS77: Because nothing can actually burn in the absence of oxygen
