Why Hydrogen has dual nature??

Answer:

Hydrogen has a dual nature due to the fact it only has a single electron in its outer shell. This means that a hydrogen atom can easily gain an electron to create a full outer shell ,like a typical halogen, or loose an electron ,like an alkali metal.
