As hydrogen molecule (H2) contain two electrons, hence experiences strong nuclear pull from nucleus hence has smaller size

srush1: ty for marking as brainlist
10562014: no i m pretty sure its one otherwise it would be a noble gas and highly stable as it complete its duplet
akashmanasi: answer my question
akashmanasi: no
srush1: ya, the question says molecule
srush1: hydrogen atom. has one electron
10562014: sorry i didn't read the question properly hydrogen molecule has 2 electrons
10562014: sorry again
srush1: hmm..
srush1: it's ok

because it has got just one electron and one proton and no neutrons are present whereas helium has 2 electrons 2 protons and 2 neutrons each therefore size of the nucleus is greater than that of hydrogen so is the weight.
