Why hygrogen gas can not be used as fuel in households?

Hydrogen  generates lots of energy  it get's difficult to cool it down , that's why it can't be use in household.

Hydrogen is an element which is highly combustible due to its highest calorific value.
For this reason of high inflammability it is generally never used in house hold purposes as it can cause severe damage.

But it can be used as fuel in rockets.Rockets require more energy to reach the escape velocity which can be provided by hydrogen gas as its combustion is highly exothermic.
