Why i get the vaccines and vitamin injections everytime on my buttocks?Why it feels pain?​

Except for the discomfort of certain types of medications, receiving an injection in the hip should not be painful if done correctly. As a nurse for 40 years I was always complimented on the fact that injections given by me did not hurt. Most reasons for pain are the medication is given too fast. The giver needs to slow down. Some medications burn or hurt no matter what but even the discomfort from those can be minimized by slowly injecting it.
