Korea and India are closed friends from at least two thousand years.
Buddhism established this relationship between South Korea and India.
In the second half of the fourth century, Koguryo was the first among the three kingdoms of Korea, who accepted Buddhism.
Subsequently, Buddhism was officially recognized in Korea.
Economical and political relations further grew between South Korea and India by the visit of Indian President APJ Abdul Kalam ’s to Korea in February 2006.
A joint task force was formed between the two countries during the visit.
The purpose of the task force formation was for the development of a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the two countries and take the economic relationship to further a higher level.
So, if I can become the Indian Ambassador I would be able to work for further strengthening the relationship.
