Why ice at 0℃ has greater cooling effect than water at 0℃ ?

=>Ice at 0°C cools much better as it has not absorbed the latent heat of fusion till then and takes heat from our palm (latent heat of fusion)and converts into water

=>Whereas Water on the other hand has already absorbed the latent heat of fusion and does not gets gets enough heat so that it can evaporate (latent heat of vaporisation)

•therefore ice has better cooling effect than water
