Why ice floats on water? want a perfect answer and also explain

density of water is maximum at 4 degree Celsius so density of ice which is at 0 degree is lower than water and hence it floats

Ice float on water because there is space in ice there is trapped in the ice because the ice floating in water they have gap in their atom
