Why if a child is born the per capita gdp goes down?

I don't think if a child is born per capita the GDP goes down,
it depends on so many things not only population like
the consumption rate and manufacturing of finished goods etc

no it does not affect gross domestic product as 1 birth will be nominal in such a big country.
