why if we cut Onion we get tears in our eyes​

It turns out when you cut an onion, it releases a gas called, ready for this, Propanethiol S-oxide. When mixed with certain enzymes in the onion, it creates a sulfur gas. These gases then get to your eyes and create a mild acid which irritates the eyes.

because onion consist of sulpher and when the sulpher comes in contact with our eye our eyes consist of fluid called aquios humor and vitorous humour it will starts to mix with sulpher hence we get tears
