why in deserts areas there is less rainfall

Desert get about 10 inches of rain a year. Therefore are different reasons they get so less rainfall. Some desert are near the equator where the air is very dry. Some desert are near mountains that blocks the rain. ☔

The desert gets about 10 inches of rain a year. There are so many rains due to different reasons that some deserts are near the equator where the air is very dry.

Some deserts are in the middle of a continent, until the wind reaches there, it has some humidity, some desert is near the mountains which prevents the rain.

Rainy season from July to September Many desert storms are violent, after heavy rains flash floods have occurred.

The dry stream channel is called Errooy or Vadis. Some of these channels are dangerous because they fill water faster.

More people die from thirst when they die in the desert, if there is rain, then there is dry in the desert because the sand absorbs water.


Desserts have fog in Africa's coastal desert such as Atakama, Chile and Namid.


Get cold desert snow
The lakes are usually shallow, temporary and saline. When small lakes are dried, they leave salt crusts or harden.
