Why in ic engine piston has zero acceleration at perticular position of the crank

As there is a fixed rotation of the crankshaft, therefore when the Piston is in the top dead centre and at bottom dead centre it will be having zero acceleration as the direction along with magnitude changes due to fixed rotation.
