why in India discrimination between male and female occurs...

From the ancient times there is a sexual discrimination...There was a belief that only males should work out and females are just responsible for household works and maintainance of their children but this was partially stopped during the world wars when men went to war fields women went to do jobs and maintaining their family slowly women known that they also can do everything as well as anything and they started fighting for their rights gradually women in every country got their rights in every aspect and they are participating in every aspect Now there is only a little discrimination as some parents may not like to send their girl child to study,and they may think like what our ancient people thought....
