Answer:

1. Why is the Sanskrit language taught in schools is an absurd question . Everyone knows that Sanskrit is the backbone of India . No educated Indians can escape this perpetual truth . All rudimentary things are directly related to Sanskrit i.e. Sanskriti , Samskar , Dharmashaastra ,Dharma , Rituals , Ceremonies et al. In other words , Sanskrit is really ' Pranvayu ' ( oxygen ) for the Indians . It is the single religion which teaches the message of ' Global Brotherhood ' in the world. Sanatan Dharm can never be equated with other so called religions of the world. It is Dharm but rests are sects which propagate murders , bloodshed , arson , plundering, exploitations , and earthly temptations for conversion etc.

It is necessary to make understand our students about ancient Indian culture and civilization . Without Sanskrit we cannot comprehend the eternal thoughts of our ancestors . When the people of a country ignore their ancestral language , culture and religion , that country becomes slave . When the Jews of Israel can revamp their ancient Hebrew language , we can also revive the Vedic spirit of the Sanskrit language so that Nationality can be energised and restored.

Presently , mostly Indians don't show nationality in letter and spirit . All we treat India as an alien country where everyone is utterly self-centered . As the Greek , Persian ,Dutch , Portuguese , French , English , Turk , Mongol , and Mughal looted this place as a foreign country , we Indians are also plundering our own country like notorious invaders . On the basis of this proposition we don't find difference between the Indians and foreigners . Once Indian intellectual Mr Nirad C. Choudhary was asked by a journalist of The Times to define Indians . Mr Choudhary said the people of Europe are Original Europeans while the people of India are Corrupt Europeans.

If you would like to follow Hinduim , it is very important to prescribe Sanskrit in schools , colleges , and Universities of India . Without deep perusal of Sanskrit texts you cannot understand what India was and what it is .

2.Learning Sanskrit improves one’s pronunciations and speech.

Reciting slokas and mantras improves concentration and motivation towards learning.

Learning Sanskrit would not just help you in school, but through rest of your life.

Sanskrit is not just a language but a national heritage. I learned it in school and hated it (to be honest). After so many years, I want to start learning again.

The vocabulary, subhashitas, the literature, the scriptures. Sanskrit helps you understand trivial things and marvel.

Sanskrit indeed is a key to great knowledge and quality entertainment.

If Sanskrit is being taught in your school, you can consider yourself very lucky.
