Vaccules mainly stores water
Plants need more water than animals in some conditions of nature

Plants don't need to move for search of food while have to move.

Plants only requires mechnaical strength to perform its function. Since, vacuoles are present there and which provide mechanical strength to them.

Animals don't requires any mechnaical strength hence they have less and small vacuoles.
