Why in prepration of an insoluble salt from another insoluble solt by precipitation dilute nitric acid and not dilute sulphuric acid os generly used?

Answer:
Dilute nitric acid is a better oxidising agent than sulphuric acid. Moreover nitrates are more reactive than sulphates easying the formation of the final insoluble salt.
