Why in rational number q is not equals to zero??

• According to rational number property :- a rational number is in the form of p/q where , q ≠ 0

• Here , q ≠ 0 is the required condition.

bcoz ,

 \frac{p}{0}  \: is \:  \:  \: not \: defined
as dividing 1 by 0 is known to be infinity.


a rational number is the form of number in which no. can be written in fraction form.

we can't divide any no. be zero. !!
and hence , to be in fraction a no. should be exist !!
