Why in the hugli basion their more growing of just¿

Maybe for jute due to proximity to jute growing areas

Jute ?huh..

They grow jute in Hubli basin because the soil is very fertile...

After the growth of it the jute will be waged in the nearby river so they grew mostly Jutes there..
