Why increase in the viscosity causes increased fluorescence?

Hey there !

Quantum efficiency of Fluorescencedecreases with increasingtemperature. As the temperatureincreases, the frequency of the collision increases which increasesthe probability of deactivation by external conversion. Solvents with lower viscosity have higher possibility of deactivation by external conversion.
