although the legislature were set up as a result of 1937 elecion but it was not fully democratic.but the experience gained by the Indians in the working of legislative institution proved to very useful for our country to set up is own from of institutions and working in them so Indian constitution adopted institutional details and procedures from the government of colonial act 1935
