Why India follow multiparty system:-

India follow multiparty system because if there would have been only one party, then people won't be able to represent their own interests.

If there would be only one-party system, then even at the central level, the development would be localised. Means only those places would have developed to which the party belong to.

If there would be only one-party system, then only that community would have developed to which the party belong to. It won't get to know the interests of other communities.

Only some states would be able to develop due to one-party system because one party would not have been able to concentrate on so many states at a time.

People's interests can't be represented in the lok sabha because people will not have any representative.

India has so much ethnic, cultural, geographical and social diversity that single party can't accommodate it.

If there would be single party, then there won't be any opposition which will tell the drawbacks of the government.

Also in democracy, everyone is given fair chance. So everyone has a right to make party.

These all are the reasons why India is a multiparty system.
