India is a flawed democracy because several lakhs of people are not educated about elections and their rights to vote. There are people who dont vote because it is inconvenient to them. Due to poverty, political figures buy off people in voting for them. Sometimes goons are sent to persuade people into voting for a certain figure. India is a flawed democracy but it is improving as electoral awareness is spreading amongst people and more and more people are joining the field of politics.
