1st reason is the direction of sun....
In summer India gets a region of low pressure and attracts the winds from the coast of Arabian sea , bay of Bengal and Indian ocean.
hence it does not experience cold.
where as the direction of the sun in the winter season is changes and India gets into a region of high pressure and so experience cold.

because tropic of cancer divides it into two parts and in the month of december the earth is slightly from the sun so north side become cooler while the south becomme cooler in the month of july
