India is a secular country bcoz
*there is no official religion for the indian states
(unlike Sri Lanka {Buddhism} and Pakistan{Islam})
*All individuals and communities have the freedom to profess , practice and propagate any religion or not to follow any.
*it prohibits discrimination on ground s of religion.
