We have the manpower but not the sporting power. There is little investment in construction of playgrounds and training centres. India is lacking behind in modern sports infrastructures. There is no guarantee that a man or a woman can make a living in games and sports. For better achievement in international competitions, training begins at a very young age and sponsored by the government. This is not done in India.
