Why Indian do not celebrate diversity

We celebrate for such things which are very important and maybe not available at any time we want that particular celebration's subject.
For example,we celebrate our birthdays , anniversaries etc, because these are important for ourselves and these occasions come for only once in a year which means we cannot celebrate at any moment we want,we have to wait for a particular date ,in every year.
But inspite of being an important asset ,the diversity isn't celebrated in our country because we experience this diversity in our everyday lifestyles.It is an activity which is occurring in a regular basis.
And for a regular basis activity,the celebration is a bit odd thing.
Like we all eat,sleep,walk everyday,but we never celebrate for such a regular activities.
For this similar reason,the diversity isn't celebrated in our country.
