There's no particular reason to that. It's a domino effect. We watch our parents do this and we grow up to do the same for our children.

What is a domino effect?

A domino effect or chain reaction is the cumulative effect produced when one event sets off a chain of similar events. The term is best known as a mechanical effect and is used as an analogy to a falling row of dominoes.

Answer:

it's just a way of making the children study. when we wish for something we are usually ready to do something for it. so the parents use this for the good of their children.

so its a way by parents making their children get better and better marks
