I am proud of the beautiful and ancient culture of my our country. As I am not proud of the fact that it is not a safe place for women.Gender inequality in India is the main thing. It is the thing which both men and women are more concern about. Research has shown that gender discrimination is very time in favour of men in many regions or areas especially in the workplace.
After all the Indian constitution women's rights to equality including freedom of movement, voice and rights over their own bodies. Discrimination mostly affects the lives of women from career development and progress to mental health disorders . Girls below the 19 years age comprise one quarter of India's rapidly growing population.
Inspite reputation for respecting women, to an extent to treat her as a goddess, the moment a baby is born the first question asked by everyone is "boy or girl?".
