why Indians have dark coloured hair??

Hair is for protection. And India being a tropical country the hair with abundant sunshine the hair develops certain pigments that help alleviate the extreme heat. The same reason why Africans have black hair too.

Hair colour depends on Melanocytes. In simple Language More of Carbon dioxide and less of Oxygen results in Black hair colour.... whereas more of Oxygen and Less of Carbon dioxide results in Blonde Hair colour
