why indiian people are not socially equal to each other ?

India is a vast country. And maybe this is the way to put it. But one of the most important thing is the mind and the stereotypes which people still believe. Its just a play of mindset. No one is either 'chota' or 'bada'. Its all the matter of mind, thinking and stereotypes.

because before independence there are 100s of princely states in india and each princely states had its own culture due to which after independence indian society became diverse in culture
