the indo- gangetic plains has denser population.
because of the climatic conditions
as Ganga and Indus flow in this region the soil is fertile which is useful for agriculture
there is no problem for irrigation
hence indo gangetic plains have denser population

indo gangetic plains has denser population because of its climatic conditions and the type of soil which serves a best medium for the good agriculture which is a livelihood of most of the people in thes plains
