We know, that in ohms law R=V/I. R- is resistance in the circuit . The current and voltage is unity in the resistive circuit .

Explanation:

Incase of inductors and capacitors .The voltage is leading and current is lagging in the inductive circuit & the current is leading and voltage is lagging in the capacitive circuit!.
