Hey Friend,

Manufacturing industries are located at places which have certain advantages so that the industry has some profit. The chief factors of localisation are availability of -
1. raw material
2. power
3. capital and managerial skills
4. markets
5. transport

Now, Industries have raw materials which are bulky. Hence, close location helps in saving time, fuel and other expenses.

Coal mines meet the demand of high power supply required by the industries. Thus, close location helps in transporting the power with minimum heat loss (due to heating effect) and reduces expenses of transporting the power.

Hope it helps!
