Inferior metals are coated with superior metals because of the following reasons.
1)Superior metals have high corrosion resistant ability
2)Superior metals are also mixed with inferior metals so as to form alloys.
3)Making alloys with the help of superior metals also improves the conducting power of the resulting element
4)Also coating with superior metals,it ultimately leads to the improves in the melting and boiling points of elements.
5)For eg:-Bronze(Copper and zinc),Brass (Copper and tin) and solder (lead and tin).
