No. It is definitely a way to destroy to Casteism in India. But it will happen only when it has to happen. You cannot pass a law that everyone should do intercaste marriages.
Education is the first option as it empowers all. That being said, providing equal education to all is important. The quality of education provided to a government school kid and an ICSE kid must remain same.
Second way is to promote Migration , Many cities must be built across states to provide wider employment opportunities. As people move from one place to another, probablity of them being identified by their caste will reduce.
For example, smaller towns will have separate colonies where people belonging to each caste lives. But in cities, there will be no such things. In cities areas will be differentiated as where rich people live and poor live. For example in my town there is Ambedkar colony where Adhi Dhravida people live, there is Agraharam where Brahmins live, there is Vanniyar theru where Vanniyars live etc. So when there is some dispute between two caste, one group go straight to the other group’s area and burn their houses. Contrarily, In Chennai, Even if you belong to backward caste but you are rich, you can move to Beasant Nagar or ECR. But in towns, this is Impossible. I have been to Non Brahmin houses in Myalopre’s Agraharam (Known as the place where Brahmins live in Chennai).
So People needs to be migrated to various cities. For this to become possible, an equal number of opportunities should be created across various cities and not only in Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Kolkata.
Hope it helps ^_^
