ionic bond is also known as electrovalant this is right because when a metal reacts with a non metal transfer of electrons take place from metal to nonmetal atoms ,and ionic bond is formed and so the strong force of attraction feveloped between oppositely charged ions .due to which q electric charge energy is also produce so it is also know as electrovalant compound .
