Why Ionic compounde conduct electricity but
convallent compound does not?

Answer:

Ionic compound conduct electricity due to the presence of ions in them which is not so in the case of covalent bond. Since ions are crucial for the conduction of electricity we can conclude that ionic bond conduct electricity but the covalent bond can't do so .
