why iron filings show magnetic lines instead fully getting attracted to the magnet ?

no it not get attracted

because we place a bar magnet on a table than we put a cardboard on it

and sprinkled some iron filling okk

than we tap it gently than automatically fields are formed around it

instead of attracted

They do not attached because they show the lines of magnetic field. As you know that the magnetic field never intersect and do not touch the magnet (outside) since the iron filling show the lines of magnetic field therefore it do not attached to the magnet. Hope this helps you :-)
