Iron is used to make steel, and steel is used in bridges because it is extremely strong and relatively cheap. For this same reason, steel is used in the construction of buildings, cars, ships, machinery and a large number of other objects, as well. Chlorine is much more reactive than suplhur. The colour of the salt will turn from blue to pale green. The iron nail will turn reddish-brown due to deposition of Copper on it. When Iron nail (Ferrum) is dipped in Copper sulphate (CuSO4) there takes reaction between them and coppersulphate change its color from blue to light green.
