why iron nail sink but a ship made up of iron floats?​

bcz iron has more density than water but iron ship has a hollow part so ship becomes heavy therefore density decreases and it becomes less than that of water and therefore it floats.... mark as brainiest...

An iron nail is completely filled with iron and the density of iron is more than water so it floats whereas a ship made of iron is hollow or filled with air (it is not filled with iron). So it will float as it is filled with air whose density is less than water.
